The Rev. Dr. James A. Kuykendall is a
native of Paterson, New Jersey. He is the Founder and Pastor of the Agape
Christian Ministries Church, which was established in March 1987, and is one
of the most vibrant, multi-cultural ministries in the city. He has a weekly
telecast that covers 84 cities. The church also has one of the most
lucrative high school scholarship programs in the state, which has been
instrumental in assisting students towards higher education.
Dr. Kuykendall received his
educational training at East Side High School, Paterson, NJ. He later
attended Montclair State University, of Montclair, NJ, Ramapo State
University, of Mahwah, NJ, Gilmore Memorial Bible Institute, of Paterson, NJ
and Hawthorne Bible Institute, of Hawthorne, NJ. He was awarded an honorary
Doctor’s Degree in 1999 from the Shiloh Theological Seminary in Stafford,
Virginia.
Dr. Kuykendall believes in preaching
and teaching the “Uncompromised Word of God.” He is a well-known prophet
and teacher; as he has traveled throughout the United States and abroad
conducting workshops, retreats and conferences.
Dr. Kuykendall is married to Minister
Kathy Kuykendall of Paterson, New Jersey. They are the proud parents of one
daughter, Tanisha Vonetta and the loving grandparents of Te’ras Trae
Samuels.
