MINISTER KATHY A. KUYKENDALL
Minister Kathy
A. Kuykendall has been actively ministering in children’s and teen ministry
for over 20 years. She founded the Women’s Fellowship in her local church
in 1990 and since that time it has become a place where women from the
membership and community gather every other month for meetings to seek
answers from the Lord on important issues facing Christian women. She has a
very popular Tuesday afternoon Bible Study at the Passaic County Jail in
Paterson where the inmates gather weekly with great anticipation. She is
also the Director of the Women-to-Women Mentoring Program housed in the
parsonage of the Agape Christian Ministry Church. Through this endeavor the
program has mentored over 250 women from our community during its first
year.
Minister Kathy
has been a licensed minister of the gospel since 1997. She was also a
certified and tenured public school teacher for the Paterson Public Schools
for over 12 years. She was educated at Ramapo College of New Jersey earning
an undergraduate degree in Sociology. Her graduate work in education was
done at William Paterson University, Montclair State University, and Jersey
City State University. She currently serves as President of the Passaic
County Board of Education. She also serves as a commissioner on the Board
of The Passaic County Status of Women. Min. Kathy is an active member of
the American Association of Christian Counselors.
Minister Kathy
has been happily married to Dr. James A. Kuykendall, Founder and Pastor of
The Agape Christian Ministries Church in Paterson, NJ, for the past 25
years. They have one daughter, Tanisha Vonetta, and one grandson, Te’Ras
Trae Samuels.
